Model Context Protocol Overview
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets Claude and other AI assistants connect to your tools and data. Think of it as giving Claude direct access to your Agent Interviews account.
Instead of switching between apps, you can just ask Claude what you need. It handles all the technical stuff behind the scenes.
What you can do:
- Check interview status and get transcripts
- Search through all your research data
- Create and manage projects and interviewers
- Set up recruitment campaigns
- Access reports and analysis
All without leaving your chat or coding environment.
Why We Built This
We wanted to make your research workflow smoother. Now you can manage everything through conversation instead of clicking through multiple interfaces.
Ask Claude naturally - "Show me interviews from last week" or "Create a new interviewer for customer feedback" - and it just works.
Authentication
The MCP server uses OAuth 2.0 for secure access. When you set it up, you'll connect your Agent Interviews account. Claude handles authentication automatically after that.
Some operations need write access (like creating or deleting). Claude will let you know if you need additional permissions.
Getting Started
Pick your environment and follow the setup guide:
- Setup in Cursor - Access your data while coding
- Setup in Claude Desktop - Use it in chat
Both take about 5 minutes to configure.
What You Can Ask
Once it's set up, just talk to Claude naturally:
- "Show me the status of my recent interviews"
- "Find all interviews where people mentioned pricing"
- "Create a new project for Q1 research"
- "Get me a recruitment quote for 50 participants"
Claude figures out which tools to use based on what you're asking. You don't need to remember commands or technical details.
